Election

Ok, so here is my(Jason's) first posting on our family blog.

I witnessed on TV last night the welcoming of Obama and wife to the White House by President Bush and his wife Laura. My first comment was I can only imagine what Bush must be feeling about having to coach up Obama on the office of the presidency. My second comment, as Laura stood with Mrs. Obama for a photo op, was that 'I bet Laura Bush is beside herself'. What a shame it is to have to shake the hand of someone who is polar opposite of you and your beliefs and views knowing that he is about to take over the office that you once ran the country from. I'm disappointed with those that voted for Obama. My disappointment lies in the lack of moral fiber that is quickly disolving in our society. I can only thank God for God now. My faith must be stronger than it once was. I must continue raise my children up to be sharp arrows for Christ. I hope Obama's term is short and uneventful.
